I've spent the past several years building web applications end to end, from enterprise systems in C# and ASP.NET Core to interfaces in ReactJS, NextJS and TypeScript, with some React Native and Expo on the mobile side. I also work with Dynamics 365 Business Central day to day. I care about accessibility and craft in equal measure. Software that quietly works well is, to me, a kind of good manners.

Outside of client work I build my own things. My curiosity tends toward how systems are put together, whether that's a codebase, a cathedral, or the long arc of Big History, and my reading leans toward fantasy novels and the questions that Christianity and deep time both ask about what lasts. I also build websites for small businesses and organisations directly, most recently for Genesys Foundation and Iconic Signs.

I previously volunteered with Genesys Tech Hub on programmes like Codename: Learnable and CodeVille, helping newer developers find their footing, and spent almost two years as a volunteer Website Engineer for Alternatives to Violence Project in London, rebuilding their WordPress site.
